Trudi Taylor

Associate

Trudi delivers sustainable behavioural, cultural and process change through her various areas of specialism.

She is a professional ICF accredited coach who provides the challenge, insights, and support to enable leaders and teams to reach remarkable levels of performance.  She does this with a view of the whole sociotechnical system as a direct result of her background in Human Factors.

Trudi loves to mix up different qualitative research and behavioural change techniques and apply them to real world problems. She practices with a strong ear for listening out for the “story behind the story” and hearing “what is not being said”.  This deep active listening with the ability to get to the heart of complex issues, is often the breakthrough in thinking that enables shifts in individual, team, and organisational performance.

She has a specific interest in what makes people good at what they do and how to make more of this. Her work in expertise began early on in her Human factors career with Network Rail and continued into her PhD thesis with railway controllers in the UK. She has also supported the UK transport industry, NHS and energy sectors to uncover the drivers and fundamental levers to improve safety culture with a focus on Safety leadership and participatory design.
